The week of the Vodafone Rally de Portugal is here and while the competition kicks off this Thursday, the work on the Service Park is huge, with teams spending the day building their working and hospitality areas.
Meanwhile, the WRC2 and WRC3 drivers tested their cars, giving collecting important data and searching for the best set-ups taking into consideration the conditions of the gravel roads they will be facing at the Rally.
However, some teams are already facing extra work. The pairs Christian Riedemann/Lara Vanneste and Juan Carlos Alonso/Juan Pablo Monasterolo crashed their cars. The Citroën DS3 R3 Belgian driver broke the front left suspension, while the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X ended up the day on a ditch.
Tomorrow drivers will be facing the 2014 Vodafone Rally de Portugal first day of Recce at the Vale Judeu (Shakedown), Malhão (SS 10/13), Silves (SS 2/5), Santana da Serra (SS 9/12), Ourique (SS 3/6) and Almodôvar (SS 4/7) stages.
