Fafe is “fantastic event” says Sordo

Last year’s WRC Fafe Rally Sprint Dani Sordo is already thinking about the Fafe/Lameirinha stage and being a Spaniard, he is the only foreign driver that might be feeling at home at the event, thanks the fans that are expected to cross the border.

“I’m really looking forward to compete in the WRC Fafe Rally Sprint this weekend; it’s a fantastic event with such an amazing atmosphere!” says the Hyundai i20 WRC driver.

“I’m sure there will be a lot of Spanish supporters at the event as Spain is quite close, which makes it even nicer for me. I can’t wait to take the Hyundai i20 WRC to the Fafe-Lameirinha stage, I will do my best to entertain the crowds and get the best result possible for the team. Apart from two days of testing this week, the Rally Sprint will be my first time on gravel with the i20 WRC and of course it will give me some more time in the car on loose surface before Rally de Portugal next week.”
