Stage Flash - SS3 Caminha

18 maio 2018

Car 1. OGIER/INGRASSIA

“It’s going to be difficult to limit the damage. I cannot do more.”

Car 2. EVANS/BARRITT

“I had a spin. I went a bit deep and, when I went on the throttle, we had to reverse.”

Car 4. MIKKELSEN/JAEGER-SYNNEVAAG

“Some places I was lifting where you can push a bit harder. This stage is fast and you need a bit of detail. I am happy with the car. It is doing what I want.”

Car 5. NEUVILLE/GILSOUL

“This one was okay. I tried to do my best. There is not much more I can do. I have a big rhythm. There were a couple of corners I came too fast and lost some speed, but not too bad.”

Car 6. PADDON/MARSHALL

“We had a lot of tyre wear on the first one. We need to manage the tyres for the last one. I tried to drive it clean. If we pushed we would have no tyres left. Trying to be smart at the moment”

Car 7. LATVALA/ANTTILA

Stopped in the stage with front-right damage. The crew were out of the car checking for damage.

Car 8. TÄNÄK/JARVEOJA

Toyota’s sports director Kai Lindström said: “We know that Ott hit a rock (SS2) and damaged the cooling system of the car. When we get the car back we will start working with it.”

Car 9. LAPPI/FERM

“No better. I cannot do any better and I don’t know why. Everything is fine with the car. I feel we don’t have the grip. It’s the limit at the moment. It’s a shame for the team. We need to keep the car on the road now.”

Car 10. MEEKE/NAGLE

“Good. My intercom is away again. It’s the third time this year.”

Car 11. BREEN/MARTIN

“Not so bad. We are improving the feeling. We made a change before that stage and we are going in the right direction.”

Car 12. ØSTBERG/ERIKSEN

“I don’t have a good feeling to be honest. The car is very inconsistent. I have some surprises on throttle. A few times here and there I lost the car completely. It’s very unpredictable.”

Car 16. SORDO/DEL BARRIO

“I try to enjoy. I did not push really hard at the beginning of the stage. The time is not so good. We have an important stage in front and we will try and do better.”

Car 43. NORDGREN/SUOMINEN

Lost over a minute in SS2.
