Car 1, Ogier/Ingrassia
“The tyres are not so bad. The car was moving around a lot at the end of the stage. I hope it’s the tyres and nothing else on the car.”
Car 2, Tanak/Molder
“It was really difficult. I went wide a couple of times in the beginning because I couldn’t get the hard tyres working.”
Car 3, Evans/Barritt
“We’re trying, but it’s very aggressive on the tyres. It was moving about a lot in some sections then we had loads of grip in others. I’m sure the splits will look a bit strange.”
Car 4, Paddon/Marshall
“It’s going to be difficult this afternoon, but I think we’ve made the right choice with the tyres. We changed the diff and the suspension in service which seems to be working.”
Car 5, Neuville/Gilsoul
“It went well, but the visibility is very bad. I did a good stage, but maybe not good enough. I’ve tried to make the best choice for the look.”
Car 6, Sordo/Marti
“I have soft tyres, so I have to be careful. Only one hard. The rear end was kicking out this morning, but we’ve changed the setup and it’s better.”
Car 7, Meeke/Nagle
“It was all up to tyre choice. Let’s see how we can manage them. I’ve got two spares, I have to bring them. The weight wasn’t a consideration. It was just the best choice to have them.”
Car 8, Breen/Martin
“I’ve got one hard on the right rear and two spares which act as a bit of ballast. Every single kilo makes a difference on these stages.”
Car 9, Lefebvre/Moreau
“I had some understeer on some corners. I had to work hard on this one. I’m glad to be here, the team did a great job on the car at service.”
Car 10, Latvala/Anttila
“It’s a very abrasive mid section. I try to be easy and not overload the tyre. I have a good feeling about it.”
Car 11, Hanninen/Lindstrom
“Some places it’s quite rough. A lot of ruts. I’m not sure about the tyres, I tried to save them a bit.”
Car 14, Ostberg/Floene
“We had a slow puncture. When it went we did one km on the rim. I thought I could make it to the end, but we had a broken rim so we had to stop and change it.”
