Coverage for this year’s Vodafone Rally de Portugal – the rally’s 50th year – has been stepped up a notch, meaning fans around the globe can get their fix of World Rally Championship action.
As with previous years, RTP will be the official broadcaster for the Automobile Club of Portugal. With cameras on almost every corner and helicopters pacing the cars, not one part of the action is missed. For fans who crave even more coverage, WRC Plus and Red Bull TV will also be broadcasting plenty of rally coverage too.
The first live broadcast, both nationally and internationally, will be the Super Special stage, Lousada. The action will unfold at 19:00 local time on Thursday. On Friday, there will be more street-based excitement direct from the Braga street stage. Again, this will be at 19:00 local time.
Over the course of the weekend, RTP will be bringing live coverage from two passes of the Amarante section, along with coverage from Vieira do Minho from RTP3 throughout Saturday.
On Sunday, RTP will be covering the world famous Fafe stages including the final power stage, which never fails to deliver plenty of high-flying action.
