Rally de Portugal's 50th Anniversary book is out now

Fifty years since the launch of a mythical event that became more than a challenge right from its early years, all the great teams and drivers in the history of rallying have taken part. And they’ve experienced a rally with a level of competition and atmosphere that more than makes up for the distances travelled.

There have been human stories at every kilometre north to south from those who won and those wo were defeated. These have been a trademark of the rally over the years with the drivers and their cars cheered every step of the way on routes running trough some of the most secluded forest roads in Portugal. Previously uncharted territory has been exposed to the world of rallying and all those involved created some truly wonderful and special memories.

The event’s success is a tribute to those who managed, supported, felt and played a part in making Rally of Portugal’s first 50 years of history. They are all heroes and all play a part in this history.
