Today on Vodafone Rally de Portugal

The final day of this year’s Vodafone Rally de Portugal (Sunday) will see the culmination of the action and the winners presented with their trophies on the Matosinhos sea-front.

There are four more stages that the crews need to compete on, arranged over two loops of two. It's an early start – the first car will leave parc ferme at 05:15hrs. The first of the two loops takes the crews over the 22.47Km of Vieira do Minho before the first run through the famous Fafe stage, with its legendary jumps.

After a short service back at the EXPONOR centre, the crews tackle the same two stages again but this time, the final Fafe test is the event Power Stage, with additional points on offer for fastest, second-fastest and third-fastest so the crews will be pushing hard to claim extra points for the championship.

They then return to the EXPONOR service park before heading to the seafront in Matosinhos for the podium presentation, in front of rally fans and the TV cameras. There, they will be presented with their trophies before the traditional champagne spray, signifying the end of the event.
