The biggest motorsport event held annually in Portugal once again brings the stars of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) to the stages of the North and Centre of the country, from 7 to 10 May. The Portuguese round will be the sixth event of the 2026 WRC season and remains one of the most iconic rallies on the international calendar.

The 2026 edition will feature 23 special stages, totalling 345.14 competitive kilometres, within an overall route of approximately 1,862 kilometres. The rally headquarters will once again be based at Exponor in Matosinhos, while the ceremonial start returns to Coimbra.
Among the most anticipated stages are legendary names such as Lousã, Arganil, Amarante, Vieira do Minho, Felgueiras, Fafe and Lousada, ensuring four days of action, adrenaline and thousands of fans across the Portuguese mountains.
The 2025 WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal generated an estimated total economic impact of €193 million and attracted around one million spectators over the four days of the event, confirming its scale as one of the largest sporting events held in Portugal.
