Car 1, Ogier/Ingrassia
“Two softs on the car. It’s the way it has to be for me, we’re going to see what’s going to happen. The line is not so good from the previous car, so there is still cleaning to do.”
Car 2, Latvala/Anttila
“Ogier had an impressive time. Three hards and two softs was the right choice for him. He’s getting closer and closer to me. But I had a good run.”
Car 3, Meeke/Nagle
“I had a better run. Looking forward to the next stages.”
Car 4, Ostberg/Andersson
“We found the problem with the rear diff in service, the car is fantastic to drive. But now we have another problem because I have no boost, so we need to try and find out what’s wrong. It’s not good to drive.”
Car 6, Tanak/Molder
“Really happy with that, nice drive through. I’m in a good mood at the moment, it’s all quite okay.”
Car 8, Sordo/Marti
“I tried to push hard, my feeling with the car was really good. On many corners I tried to drive well. I’m happy, I do my best. It’s moving a little bit on the rear. I’ve got two spare tyres so we’ll go on and see what happens.”
Car 9, Mikkelsen/ Floene
“It was a nice stage, though a bit more rough. We have three hards on the car, and one soft. I think I’m happy with my tyre choice, so we’ll see how it goes this afternoon.”
Car 12, Al Qassimi/ Patterson
“It was better for sure, the second half of the stage is exposing the ruts and the bigger rocks, it’s quite an impact on the steering. High suspension was the right change to make.”
Car 14, Kubica/ Szczepaniak
“It was very difficult, lots of ruts and big holes. In the narrow parts you have to be careful because you don’t know if the road will kick you out.”
Car 20, Paddon/Kennard
“It’s rougher, but nowhere near as bad as yesterday. Trying to keep the rear in the ruts, but it keeps popping out and sliding around.”
Car 21, Prokop/Tománek
“It was quite okay, but I missed one junction, and I had to start the car again. Maybe the car is too stiff, but this stage was quite okay. I was surprise by how smooth this was.”
Car 32, Lefebvre/Prevot
“Little bit better on this one. This morning it was no good for this stage, but on the next one I’ll be pushing a little bit more.”
Car 42, Al-Attiyah/Baumel
“It’s becoming really rough, be we did 9 seconds faster than the morning. It’s getting really rough, so we’ll see what we can do.”
Car 43, Tidemand/Axelsson
“Didn’t hit anything, I didn’t feel anything. It was a clean, good run.”
Car 70, Lappi/Ferm
“We have to really take care, many times on the braking I have to brake outside the ruts because I don’t want to break the car.”
