Car 1. OGIER/INGRASSIA
“It’s a tricky stage to be honest. I was not really pushing. A lot of negative camber and it’s
very easy to lose the car. I think we all started a bit carefully.”
Car 33. EVANS/MARTIN
“It was a very big push. It was quite tricky in there and not enough grip. I am quite happy
with that. Happy enough…”
Car 8. TÄNAK/JÄRVEOJA
Confirmed this morning at Exponor that he hit nothing on the 14th stage on Saturday
afternoon. “Just driving through at the moment.” The Estonian started the stage with an
open-faced helmet. When questioned he said: “Lightweight, Power Stage spec!” He is
also running without a spare wheel.
Car 69. ROVANPERÄ/HALTTUNEN
“We are trying something on the suspension. This stage I just put the hard tyres across to
save the soft. I just drive this one quite slowly.”
Car 18. KATSUTA/BARRITT
“It was a tricky stage. New stage and slippery. Not good driving.”
Car 16. FOURMAUX/JAMOUL
“This stage is really nice. It is like skiing, many cambers. You need a good pace or you
can lose a lot of time. I am struggling with my tyres. I think they are dead. It could be a
long day.”
Car 44. GREENSMITH/PATTERSON
“In here we wanted to be careful. There are a lot of places where you can make a
mistake. Now we can pick up the pace pretty easily.”
Car 6. SORDO/ROZADA
“I am not happy. There were some mistakes. It is a tricky stage. I don’t want to make any
mistakes but, at the same time, I want to keep the pressure on.”
Car 22. LAPPI/FERM
“The pressure is to keep it on the road. A lot of cambers and off-cambers. You need to be
on the right side.”
Car 24. SUNINEN/MARKKULA
A spin for Suninen in the stage and the Finn was forced to do a time-consuming turn with
the loss of around 30 seconds. Slight front-left damage. “I spun. We are running out of
tyres.”
