Permanent retirements on Friday include cars 7 (Loubet), 93 (Guerra Rodriguez), 52 (López), 58 (Ramos), 82 (Bassas), 83 (Cunha), 65 (Badiu), 79 (Palomo Ortiz), 80 (Almeida), 92 (López), 73 (Salin), 77 (Cachon Rodrogues), 78 (Muñez Mora), 81 (Blach), 85 (Reyes Gonzalez), 86 (Fernandes), 87 (Monarri Azañedo), 88 (Campos), 90 (Sousa) and 91 (Garcia Paz).
The top five drivers have taken four soft and two hards this morning. Stage opener Neuville opted for hard compound tyres.

“Pretty slippery. I didn’t feel super comfortable. I was missing grip. We need to see if we
can do something with the car.”
Car 11. NEUVILLE/WYDAEGHE
“Obviously with the hard compounds it was really slippery. I want to save my soft tyres for
tomorrow.”
Car 33. EVANS/MARTIN
“All feeling okay. The balance is changing all the time with the grip levels but it was an
okay run.”
Car 8. TÄNAK/JÄRVEOJA
“I had a good feeling in the stage. I am much more happy with the car today. It felt much
more natural.”
Car 69. ROVANPERÄ/HALTTUNEN
One hard tyre. “For sure, I need to learn it a little bit. It was a tricky stage.”
Car 18. KATSUTA/BARRITT
Lost fourth place to Ogier by one-tenth of a second. “It’s okay. I don’t follow that. Seb is a
World Champion, so. This stage was very slippery, more than I expected. Just try to
survive and see what I can do.”
Car 16. FOURMAUX/JAMOUL
“The pedal is full throttle all the time. It is undriveable. I was just carefully so as not to
make a mistake. It was dangerous. I need to check.”

“The car feels really nice…happy.”
Car 6. SORDO/ROZADA
“I was in the middle of the stage a little bit lost. It was foggy. Then I had some small
mistakes in a fast place with the pace notes. Then I pushed to the maximum. Let’s see the
people at the back…”

“Just not 100% happy with the car. We have to live with that to be honest.”
Car 24. SUNINEN/MARKKULA
“I was pretty happy. We have been struggling a bit on the slippery corners. We are trying
to push.”
Car 25. GRYAZIN/ALEXSANDROV
“Think the tyres are just not good for the stage. I also have some issues with the turbo. I
need to check it.”
