Stage Flash SS4 Lousã 2

21 maio 2021

Four hard and two soft tyres is the choice for all but two of the nine World Rally Car drivers for the second loop of stages.

Car 1.    OGIER/INGRASSIA

“At the moment it is not looking so good in the overall classification. We need to keep

pushing and see.”

Car 11.   NEUVILLE/WYDAEGHE

“We expected the road to be rougher and we go out on the hard tyres on the car so we

made some small setting changes to adapt to the changes. Actually the car is handling

well. I did not expect that.”

Car 33.   EVANS/MARTIN

“Okay, the grip was not optimal level but it was okay. It was quite aggressive in there.”

Car 8.    TÄNAK/JÄRVEOJA

“Need to get through, for sure, that is the first thing.”

Car 69.   ROVANPERÄ/HALTTUNEN

“We were doing something on the settings on the car. It was helping. I am trying to be

better all the time. Let’s see what we can do.” Fastest time on the stage of 9 min 02.6sec.

Car 18.     KATSUTA/BARRITT

“It’s nice I am enjoying this rally. A lot of things to improve, like small mistakes in some

corners. Now the rocks are coming on the lines. Once I almost rolled because there were

some rocks. It is quite tricky. I try to be safe and fast on the next one.”

Car 16.     FOURMAUX/JAMOUL

“I was afraid to have a puncture. I was too carefully in many places. Maybe we need to

change the set-up for what it was.”

Car 44.     GREENSMITH/PATTERSON

“The car feels good. Disappointing with the puncture. I’m getting close to that first stage

win. It’s annoying me now. I need to get it soon.”

Car 6.      SORDO/ROZADA

“I was thinking I was better in the stage but the time was not so good. I will try and be

better in the next one.”

Car 21.     BULACIA/OHANNESIAN

“It is a bit rough with some loose rocks on the downhill section at the end. We have

improved a little.”

Car 22.     LAPPI/FERM

“Just try to go through without any drama. It is easy to get into troubles.”
