The FIA World Council, held yesterday in Paris, announced the countries which will host the 2016 FIA World Rally Championship, with the major novelty being the introduction of a 14th WRC round.
With the final dates yet to be confirmed, the 2016 WRC will be visiting Argentina, Australia, China, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Mexico, Monte Carlo, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. The Chinese event is subject to fulfillment of the FIA following Candidate Event in August 2015, but should it get the final green light it will be a first for the WRC.
