“We spun once and lost five seconds there. Our pace was not good enough this morning.
We still see some cleaning effect. Even with a good morning it would have been difficult to
match the guys behind. Conditions are still challenging and not really dry. We decided to
use some used tyres this morning. We didn’t expect that we needed the soft for the full
loop this morning and then the rain came. Now we are the only guys who have some full
soft, except Thierry. Let’s see what we can do with that.”
Car 11. NEUVILLE/WYDAEGHE
“Obviously there are still some little issues to solve after the crash from yesterday. The
guys worked hard, the car was difficult to drive. We need to investigate now. It does not
change a lot. Our target is to push for the Power Stage now. I was really concentrated on
trying to fix the car, We did what we could. Now we are in service and the guys will have
a proper check.”

“Pretty okay. I didn’t have the best feeling in the first one this morning. I don’t know what it
was. After that, the second one started pretty well. We had a strange feeling on the harder
base towards the end with the car moving a lot. Then, on the softer ground it was not an
issue. In Amarante, I was relatively happy to put a decent time on the board there.”
Car 8. TÄNAK/JÄRVEOJA
“I guess this morning the grip was quite consistent and the characteristics worked for the
car. In the end, I got the feedback and I felt a bit more free. It was a good wake-up, for
sure. I pushed a bit. Tomorrow is enough mileage if you don’t have soft (tyres) any more
to make a difference. It’s something we need to look at. Now we go to second loop set
up.”
Car 18. KATSUTA/BARRITT
“Pretty good morning, tricky conditions because of raining. I changed my mind and stayed
on the road. The second one I was feeling good and I push and avoid mistakes. A good
balance and I tried to avoid the punctures. It was pretty okay. We will change a bit in the
car. It will be faster, for sure.”
Car 16. FOURMAUX/JAMOUL
“It was fun. I was enjoying a lot. Amarante was the only one I have done before. The
throttle was an issue with the pedal, like full throttle, and we lost a lot of time. We fixed it
when we changed the sensor and it was fine after.”
Car 6. SORDO/ROZADA
“I enjoy a lot. The first stage I lost a lot of time and I was lost in the fog. We are still close
and we need to keep pushing. I am quite happy with the car. We need to manage the
tyres. Now some places that are slippery and, until the end, it will be complicated. We
need to use the tyres again and I don’t want to destroy all.”
