“What else can we do but push. I was pushing harder than the previous one and this one was new for all of us. I decided to have a clean run and a push. So far, the tyres feel good so they should be good for this loop. More of the same on the long one – if we want to be at the front, there is no other option.”

“Picked up the puncture in the middle of the stge. I went a bit wide and hit a stone on the outside. I tried to miss it and went completely wide on the next corner and nearly lost it.”

“I enjoyed that one a lot. It was very slippery – a lot more cleaning in this stage. I’m enjoying it – the car is really nice to drive. No pressure. We’re trying a few things on the car. It seems to be working. It's hard to gauge to the cars behind but the feeling is good.”
